I like this. It's thoughtful and borderline sensual. The emptiness of space to the left feels very natural and contributes to the pensive look, giving her (you) more distance to look before the viewer leaves the picture. The only quibble I'd make is that the black bars, despite making a very nice square of the finished picture, are distracting.
